deelonmuskI've had Spot for a few years now. They're legit. Always responsive and have paid for the one claim I submitted.
Shameless plug but Blister + Spot is the move
BradFiAusNzCoCaThey did a really great job of getting the word out then a really awful awful job of making it actually easy to join.
Finally someone posts a place to actually sign up.
deelonmuskYeah, you used to be able to get Spot insurance as an individual, but this changed a little while back. They then shifted to offering Spot through groups, Blister being one of them, and we offer one of the more comprehensive Spot plans out there (works everywhere on Earth, covers almost every activity, as well as ambulance rides, heli evacs, etc.)
$0 deductible and up to $25K in coverage per incident… I feel like everyone on this site should have it
CaseyWhat’s 20 grand going to get you an ambulance ride to the sidewalk of the ER?

KilaTsunamiHappy 26th (or 30th; depending on your parents insurance plan) birthday OP!!!!
ASSholebomber22My knee rebuild was 15k give or take. Maybe add 3k for a wee-woo wee-woo ride. 25k isn't shabby I don't think
chicknfriedsteakhave you filed a claim through them?

deelonmuskA 25 mile ambulance ride, a CT scan, and an overnight stay in a hospital for a fractured pelvis cost me about $12K, in a mountain town hospital, too.
Turd__AuthorityLol came to say this
I guess it's cool for those with high deductible health plans or no insurance, but $25k is a joke. Anything serious and you've burned that in 1-3days easy and up goes the gofundme. When you get flown to a major city as a trauma alert with surgery and an ICU stay... $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
I wanna know what you guys do that your employer doesn't have health insurance?
CaseyUnder 50 employees or under 30 hours a week isn’t required to offer it. Now, just because it’s offered doesn’t mean people are always signing up for it, or that the plan isn’t expensive with high out of pocket costs. A plan like this might be a good supplemental if you’re thinking you might be underinsured for a catastrophic injury, assuming it’s set up to cover your deductible as a secondary plan.

FenkBruh I am an absolute ski bum; me and all the homies working part time seasonally, allowing you to enjoy yourself on the slopes, are just rawdogging life out here
