If you go to somewhere that does shell work they can probably punch the toes out for you. Ik a shop I tried some on at said they could do that. It might take a couple days but worth a shot

Should I just return them instead?

If you have decent amount of time for returns maybe hold onto them and go try on some different brands. If you can’t find anything that feels as good or is in your price range then maybe ask your shop about doing shell work. If they can’t do it maybe they know somewhere close that can.

Ik it kinda sucks if you’ve been looking at the k2s for a while. I tried on a pair that felt really good except for some tightness in front of the heal that the shop said they could fix, but they recommended I try on as many pairs and brands as possible and get the ones that feel the best no matter what brand.

I realized I don’t fit them at all. It’s really fucking frustrating me right now, I got a great deal on them and I only have 21 days to return and I can’t even use them. And the shipping cost is going back to Austria, so it’s like 200$

Ahh damn dude that’s a huge bummer. Brand new tho I’m sure you can find someone who will take them and not lose money especially since you already got a deal on them. Best of luck man

GO TO A BOOT FITTER. Seriously. Keep your boots. And expect to pay $200 and feel really good about it

I ordered a pair of boots solely off asthetics back in 2013, they didn't fit and I wad unable to return them.
I just kept skiing them until they got comfortable about a season later, and I still use them to this day as I cannot find anything nearly as comfortable.
Suffer through the pain and you might have the same pair 10 years later!

New liners may help (tongue instead of wrap) but i can’t say for sure

If your stuck with them you can try one thing: heat mold them at home.
Turn your oven on to 300/350. Let it pre heat and turn that sucker OFF.
Like do not forget to turn it off.
Really make sure its OFF.
Wait like 5 min. Put them on a ROOM TEMP baking sheet or something like that, not straight on your oven rack or pizza stone.
Wait like 10-15 min (some people say 15-20) w em in that sucker. Don’t forget abt them and check on them just in case something funny might happen in your oven.
While that’s happening grab your fav ski socks, and maybe have the toes cut off another pair of socks to wear under them so you have a lil extra room.
Pull out the liners, put em in your shells, put em on and get em as tight as you would ski em. Not crazy cranked down because this might make them fit too big most of the time your skiing them, and especially in the spring.
have a phone book or 2x4 to prop your toes up on. Hold that position standing for 12-20 min. This is to properly set the heels of your liners and should give you a pinch more room in the toes. I watched my fav ski video to pass the time, but you do you.

bam your boots should be molded. This process hurt a lot when i did it but the next day on hill was perfect.

FT usually ran small. Had to toe punch mine like 4 or 5 times. Take em to any shop and tell them you bought em there. Either they hook you up or DIY put the shells in the oven and cut off the end of an oven mitt or something as a toe cap. Take the shell out after like 10 min, put the liner back in and put your oven mitt digits in the boot. Keep em in there a while and repeat as necessary, it'll want to shrink back.
