Arc'teryx signing newschooled type of riders

Arc picking up certain riders left and right. Chris Benchetler, Sean Petit (unconfirmed but he posted stories at their factory). Not that long ago Michelle Parker, Tatum Monod, Stinius Skjotskift, ..?

What is up with Arc signing all these newschooled riders? Has the newschooler generation grown old enough and earning enough to buy Arc, is that the idea?

If we're talking about signing "newschool" skiers, it would have started with Hoji, wouldn't it have? Bentchetler, Petit, Parker, Tatum, etc, all spend their time in the backcountry so signing them seems completely on brand. I'd be more surprised if they started signing park skiers.

If I could afford it, I'd be in a full Arc outfit. I love the pieces I have and will continue to add more when I can.

Bentchetler, Petit, Parker, all 100% started in the park and not just dabbled... They do tricks. They have style. Tatum does tricks. She has style. I just don't know her exact upbringing.

So what? Should doing tricks, having style and getting their start in the park preclude them from a company like Arc wanting to sign them?

Amer sports owns them and armada, atomic, etc.
They probably noticed the peak in interest from newschoolers and leaned in. It’s definitely one of the new hypebeast jackets

From my experience, if you have access to the amer sports snow club you should be able to get two discount codes which you can just apply at checkout on the main site (some products excluded though). There's a separate pro deal that you access through the arcteryx website but I never had access to that one. Maybe you need to be an arc employee for that, idk

I believe the Alpha and Beta are both aimed at climbing/hiking/mountaineering where the Rush and Sabre shells are aimed at skiing/touring.

size up in the beta and alpha for skiing a size for a loose fit or two for baggy

Didn’t arc say they have no interest in the hype surrounding their company they just want to make the best product that will last a lifetime. My dad has his from 30 ish years ago, it’s still in great condition. If you’re talking about a company that cares that’s sounds like it. I’ve had many parts break on multiple jackets and they replaced the part and gave the jacket back. You can give your old jacket back and they give you some money back for the next person to enjoy. To me it sounds like they care.

Norrøna has hands down the best design for freeskiing. Minimalistic & functional. They're expensive but they're also well worth the price. They also have an online outlet where you can purchase last year's stuff from like -30 to -60%. I've spent way more over there than I'd like to admit.
