PSA: Double check your skin fit before you leave for your BC trip

I have 175 - 186 and they fit my 181 with like 1 or 2 slot left so i would say the 181 - 192 would fit the 186

What do you mean by fitting? The skins only need to cover the camber.

got a pair of ascensions on ebay for $60 before everyone and their mom was a backcountry skier. They were too short so I used paracord to connect the tail strap to the tail clip. Might just cut off the tail clip tbh. I know a lot of people that have been touring for decades that go sans tail clip.

The overall skin length was about 6cm too short to clip the tail.

If you run into this problem with no time to replace skins, it's really easy to use wire and a Voile strap to extend skin tails. The regular clips will work in the holes in a voile strap, and that extra tail coverage on a rockered ski doesn't really matter.

It's also not a big deal to just run skins without tail clips. It's how the Skimo racer guys do, and it works well as long as you're not getting wild with your tails on the skin track.
