BradFiAusNzCoCaI wrote a kid once about some bentchetler 120s on sidelineswap for $1000. Told him no one will pay that.
He told me his gf wants him to sell them and he doesn’t want to sell them lol
I hate it when people ask full price for not new stuff. Like why would somebody buy these and not just from the site
steez_apprenticethey are new stuff, he was listing gear that he won from down rails and double kinks.
also listing gear you got for free from a rail jam is stupid. like I understand if you not happy with the item you got so you want to sell it but selling something you got for free from a community event for the price that its worth from the site is just kinda greedy in my opinion.

Selling for full price is whack, selling for less is alright.
Also I think it depends on how you won it, if you were really risking it and throwing down vs a prize toss/raffle.

Yea idk its like there must have been a homie in need of pants or new skis there. Maybe it's my millennial mentality. Feel like most gen alphas and later gen zs just ungrateful imo

Nah I'd say that people from every generation are awful at selling and buying stuff
Younger generations overpay then don't understand how depreciation works.
Old people who bought stuff for cheap long ago price their stuff at the highest comp they see instead of selling for cheap.
SweetishFishI know they are but why not just buy form the site if your changing full price. I feel like most people would rather do that
This.
Nobody wants to meet up and buy from a rando internet person where there is no warranty, no returns, no customer support. You have to list at like 60% of retail.
It’s funny because it seems like people don’t make the tradeoff in their brain. I always move stuff pretty fast online because I bake all of these things into the price. I’ll tell people “you can list it lower and sell it fast or higher and potentially sit on it for a long time”. Plus, when people see you are knocking the price down a bunch - what does it tell the consumer? Your product is shit and no one wants it.

There are too many to post, like I saw a pair of 164cm bdogs no bindings 450$, bro I can get a new pair for that price and not 164. I feel like a lot of kids at the end of season try and sell their stuff to buy new gear which I’m all for, but like dude ur used skis aren’t worth $450 I’m sorry
isaacwrongwhat are peoples success rate on purchases/selling items? I feel like whenever I see something worth buying the account doesn't allow message requests
If it’s a kid I don’t even bother but most ppl selling 180 cm+ skis or backcountry gear, etc are usually legit.
