Spray painting pivots

I have a pair of grey pivot 12s and i want to paint them. What parts should i cover with masking tape? Thanks!

Whatever you don’t want to get painted… And probably the spots that are currently bare metal as well. I’d assume if a surface wasn’t painted from the factory they’ve got a reason behind it. I would imagine the effect of paint where it isn’t supposed to be is minimal though
