Cast Binding Toe Piece Wiggle Room?

I just got a cast setup mounted and when I put on the look toe pieces they are sort of loose. It's pretty easy to wiggle them around and they have some play to them. Although, when I click in boots it seems pretty solid.
Probably a stupid question but, is it normal to have some play with the way the toe pieces are attached?

Mine wiggle about a mm or so. Never notice it while I’m skiing and it hasn’t caused any issues for me. I think a little play is normal

I’ve noticed it depends on a couple factors. How much you torque the toe piece posts into the ski can cause or eliminate wiggle. Loosen and mine wiggle, tighter mine lock in - but is important to note when I go really tight it is hard to slide/swap the toe pieces on/off.
I have also learned the hard way that it also depends on if your original mount was drilled true, or slightly off. If true, the posts line up and draw down to the ski perfectly. If the drill is slightly off then the posts don’t draw down completely flat against the ski, and this can effect the toe pieces in terms of both wiggle and sliding them on/off. This is hard to see but if you inspect very closely you should be able to determine if this is happening.
