Looking to grab a new pair of planks but having difficulty deciding. Currently rocking the Blends and they're definitely too noodley for me but have been fun for the past few seasons. They're pretty rough riding through crud and tough to really push into hard turns because they're so flimsy. I spend about half my time in the park and half the time riding pretty hard both in the bumps and big mountain so I want something thats a one ski quiver.
Also I'm curious - I've always ridden with about 100 underfoot and 177ish in length (I'm 5'8"). How big of a difference does having shorter and skinnier skis actually make in the park? I avoided the park till about 5 or 6 years ago and now I love it but haven't ever ridden with anything shorter or with skinnier waist but have been considering getting a pair of exclusive park skis and then having another pair for the rest of the mountain. Already have some boats for the backcountry and big powder days at the resort.
