I always wanted them to make the ARG2 lighter
And now the new version weigh 500g less each ski.
Seriously thinking of picking them up.
Anyone looked at them? Tried them yet?

deelonmuskHaven't tried these yet but would really like to. It's great to see a reverse/reverse ski out there still being made, and now coming in at a pretty touring-friendly weight.
Our review of the normal ARG II might be of value to you. The UL version should be easier to drag uphill and quicker to flick around on the way down, but potentially less damp and composed in variable snow (which was never the ARG's strength anyway, but whatever).
RiplineDo you think they would be as versitile as my 2012 hellbents? Cause they can shred anything. Except ice. Powderz groomers and all else
deelonmuskVersatility is not the goal of the ARG. Being a reverse-camber, reverse-sidecut ski, it’s very pow-specific. The ARG II was weird at first but eventually survivable on groomers and cat tracks. It’s a tool intended for deep powder, and if you’re hoping for a wide ski that still does well on skied-out snow, I’d look elsewhere.
