Replying to Buying Skis: Transitioning from skiing East to West

I grew up exclusively skiing park in Ohio. Since I've grown older I haven't been to my home mountain in about 2 years and taken a winter trip to Colorado once every winter. It's about time to buy new skis and I am having a dilemma about what kind to get. I want to stay true to my roots and get another park skis. I can still tear it up in most all types of snow it just gets a little challenging when it comes to deep powder. Ideally I would love to still be able to hit park when I have the option but thats not the main way I ski anymore. I guess the answer is an all mountain ski but still not really sure. $700 is a big investment and I guess I just wanted to hear what other people had to say to make me feel a little more comfortable making that purchase.
