Shin bang full titl boot help.

I've been having shin bang issues with my full tilt dropkick pros for a while, getting back into ski season has brought back my shin bang , I felt great in my boots in the beginning few days of the season, but now it hurts to even try to lean forward in my boots, Im tall with skinny lower legs and not that flexible of a heel and am wondering why my shins keep hurting, If anyone has ideas of why this is happening help a brother out , My middle buckle broke on my boot trying to get it tight and I have booster straps on them to crank down on the top. Will a new buckle, or a new foot bed, or softer tounge, or shin expanders work, also will be trying to rest them as much as possible if anyone has ideas with that let me know.

Sounds like theyre possibly a bit too big... thats what often causes shin bang.. but if they fit your feet right, and you just need them to fit snugger on your legs, you can tighten up the cuffs by having a fairly thick piece of foam stuck between the wrap liner to snug them up and perhaps make the shins fit more evenly on your legs.

It's a bit hard to really determine without seeing your foot with the boot though...

nah cause the top half of the bucket broke off i can still get it pretty tight not super tight though its the middle one, prbably can get it half way down the slide thing and buckle it down

First go check Gear section theres a thread on this right now I revived. Go to a boot fitter see what modifications they can do and also do an ice bath up to your knees 2-3 times a day, make sure to massage your calfs and lower legs. Helped me a lot.

Nothing but bad experiences with them, many people will relate. To be honest the best way to go is to get stiffer boots that fit you instead of getting the boot everyone else has.

i know a whole lotta people who bought boots online that didn’t fit them very well. entire midwest is full tilt/dalbello so what do you expect.

I used to have this problem, I ended up sizing down, getting descendants instead, getting a low volume liner that was taller then original. the sizing down will help with the extra space and movement and the taller liner will spread force across more of your leg and get to a wider part of your leg. Def go to a boot fitter so they can do it right or just get you in a properly fitting boot

Sell the tilts and never look back. Find a boot fitter that will get you in a boot that fits. All boots are different a 28.5 FT can be a atomic 27.5 and the different shells all fit different styles of feet. Alot of people get fulltilts (myself included) and think its a one shell fits all park boot out of the box when really you have to customize them to your foot.

I've been here since 2002. Pretty sure the first post on NS was Matt Harvey asking why the boots he ordered online hurt his feet.
