Stuck Between Skis

I don’t have the chance to demo any of these skis. Can anyone give any input on which skis would be best for me?

ON3P Jeffrey 102
Faction Prodigy 2.0
Moment Wildcat 101
Atomic Bent 100

for the past 5 years I’ve been skiing super wide clunky skis that are heavy and mounted far back. They’re clunky and falling apart. I want a ski that I can butter around on, ride and land switch, and learn more freestyle tricks on. I want to learn some spins and get comfortable in the air this year. Any advice appreciated!

I’m a jerry but the wildcats are still my favorite skis I’ve ridden. Mount em around -2.5cm from TC and they are so much fun. Wont be as buttery as bents tho

Jeffery 102 all day long. It's the most durable, most fun, most do everything well, 1 ski quiver solution there is. I have ridden a bunch of them in the past and got myself another set for this season's all mountain adventures. I ride a mango 100 for park days because it's setup to be mounted a little more true center than the Jeffery. That being said, I have spent a lot of time on the Jeffery 102, 108, 110 and the older kartel 98's and 96's in the past. Incredible ski

Damn I forget what recommend is, it's somewhere between -2 and -4. 2 years ago me would have told you to mount true center, but educated me would tell you to mount recommended. When you ski the ski how it's designed to be skied, you will be able to take full advantage of the literal tens of thousands of hours that have gone into it's development over the years. I have ridden my 108's that are -2 or -3 in the park quite a bit, forward and switch and they work just fine. My mangos are still true center but the Jeffery 's will have a ton of benefits everywhere outside the park back mounted

I ski pretty much only park and the Jeffrey 102s have been nothing but good to me so far. I have em center mounted and detuned my edges but they still feel good carving around the mtn. They’re fairly easy to butter with good form despite being pretty stiff too.

On3p Jeff all the way easily the best ski you listed. I’ve owned on3p faction and atomic, on3ps are the best skis I’ve ever owned fuckers are bomb proof my bent 120s fell the fuck apart in half a season and my factions also did not hold up well. I do think the wildcat looks like a sick ski my self tho I’ve been wanting to try it or the deathwish🤷‍♀️

Have posted this elsewhere (forgive cc), but will be useful here -

Jeffrey mounts scale proportionately with sizing, so full range looks like:

161: -3cm
166: -3.25cm
171: -3.5cm
176: -3.75cm
181: -4cm
186: -4.25cm
191: -4.5cm

Mount mark is notch on left sidewall of both skis.

The sidecut will engage best when mounted at recommended line as-designed, but there is some play if you want to move forward or back.

Many team guys & employees mount their Jeffreys at +2 from the line comfortably - Oski, @Schoess, and myself included.

We don't advise going more than +/-2cm in front or behind the line, since you run a risk of putting holes outside the binding mat.

All of above^ applies across J96 / J102 / J110 / J118 as well.

You can get two pairs of prodigys for the price of one pair of the others you mentioned. If you keep your eyes open for sales online. Naturally they are not as durable but decent park ski still.

If price is not problem, go with others.

I heard all about the rave of Moment Skis, particularly the wildcat on this site. Gave them a shot and they are worth all the hype!! Super solid ski in a long turn, but super snappy in the trees. Balanced really well. Haven’t tired on3p’s yet, waiting for a deal on some used skis to come up, which may never happen because people hang onto them lol.

Isn’t the wildcat around -6 like the bibby for rec? That’s super far up for that ski

I’m 5’11 160, would you recommend I run the 176 or 181? Won’t be doing many rails, mostly want to learn more spin tricks and buttering around the mountain and getting big air.

I rode center mount my whole life and can't tell a difference riding them at -2 from center. If ur used to riding really far back you might even want to be a little farther back but -2 is the farthest id go forwards on them with my limited knowledge of Jeff mount points

It's really about your skill level. Neither ski would be a mistake, but if you are an intermediate skier, the shorter length will be a little easier to rip and turn with, but if you are a fairly confident skier I would go with the 181. I'm 6ft, been skiing my whole life. My park skis are 181 and my all mountain skis are 186. I have ridden both types of terrain and never felt like I was missing out.

With ON3P's you can buy them knowing you'll have them for awhile, so depending on your age, goals with progression and comfort level, I would air on the longer side if you had to choose.

I can't reiterate enough though, it really doesn't matter that much as long as you're in the ballpark

They have 5 triangles indication rec mount points. -2.5 from TC is like the furthest forward they recommend
