eheathSure it is, previous generations were getting married, having kids and basically ending their young lives when they were 18-25, now people are waiting well into their 30s to do all of this. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Agreed. A handful of my friends parents were high school sweethearts. Thats cool but being basically married at 16 sounds awful. Missing out on the most fun and free years of your life.

HighSchool, College, and 20s are the most exciting and experimental times ever. It’s no wonder people cheat and get divorced. They realized they never lived.

Horrible take.
1. Divorce rates for marriages that take in the married age range of 20-30 are nearly twice as high as 30-40 year old’s marriages
2. Our brains aren’t fully developed until our mid to late 20s, we shouldn’t be asking people to raise a child while they still technically are one.
3. Raising a child takes a lot of money, the average cost of raising a child is about 17k a year, and most 20-30 year olds have only double that in disposable income. Yes, there are usually two parents, but are there not usually two or more kids?
