Would you use skis someone died on?

Ya know, kinda like a house. It's totally plausible you could obtain skis after someone died on em and put them to good use...but would you?

Depends. Lets say a 90 year old legend happens to have have his final moments of life on a pair of sick "Armada ARV 96 Skis 184cm (still in pretty good condish)(seller pays shipping)". Aye, sign me up.

If they were your friends and you want to use them to remember them, totally.

I don't know why someone would sell the skis of a recently lost friend/relative, you'd think they'd keep 'em, but maybe they need cash? I dont think its negative either way, just seems odd someone would sell the skis.

I think having a ghost in my house is pretty chill. Pretty sure he passed working out in the back yard but it seems like he keeps an eye on the whole property

As long as someone didn't die while skiing them, sure. If I were to pass away and leave behind a pair of skis in good condition I'd want someone to put them to good use and have fun on them.

My coworker rides a mtb that someone died on. Didn't really crash, just had a heart attack and tipped over on a ride.

No way I'd ever ride a pair of skis that someone died while riding. I'm not religious, but I have enough in terms of superstition to not ride those. I would however ride a pair of skis that came from someone who died not skiing, I don't think there's any bad juju there. I almost pulled the trigger on a pair of skis @heFF used to ride this summer on KSL because it was a great deal, and I think I'd be lying if I said I didn't want them a little more knowing they used to be his skis.
