Replying to Replacing boot soles

Google/search bar didn’t really help and my dog ate the instructions but I have replacement toe/heel parts for my dalbello panterras to switch from GW to ISO 5355. It seems as simple as unscrewing GW soles and then screwing back on the alpine soles but my question is does anything have to be done to the binding at all? Can I just do this myself and click in as usual? I’m doing this because I have a pair of skis with old non-GW pivots and the shop made me sign a waver a while back but now I’d rather just be safe then sorry
