You guys wearing back protection?

Willy_The_KidI usually wear one, but I feel and look like a fucking dromedary on the slopes. Dont know... feels like a little overkill for my
occasional back 7s. You guys rocking with the hunchback look?

Wore one for years, forgot it on a trip and fractured my L2 3 days in hitting a drop off piste with no backpack or avy gear. I still have one that I don't wear that often but I'll put it on if I'm trying to send bigger tricks when the snow is bulletproof. Also padded backpacks are a nice touch if you're doing backcountry stuff where a back injury is 10 times worse due to no ski patrol around with a sled.

I don’t but if there’s anything you should try and protect, it’s ur back and skull, and for some reason the entirety of society decided that only one of the two was worth protecting

I found one on SteepnCheap a few years ago and wear it all the time. I can tell its there but it does not limit mobility or anything. Considering you can rock back and smack your spine on a rock at any moment its nice peace of mind.

Buying one of the POC vests this season and maybe some crash pants. I'm 25 and still learning new tricks in the park so I think it's time.
