Yo, this gonna sound dumb. But also I’m young so it’s fine. So I’m getting benchetler 110. I like my bindings on my skis now. Is it going to be tedious or possible to put the bindings from those on to the bents?

also is it dumb to sell skis that had bindings since the holes for those are drilled

it's perfectly fine to remount skis a couple times. you can definitely bring your old bindings and have the shop put them on the new skis

the common issue is when you mount a new pair of bindings on the old pair since you have to avoid the old holes (something like 1cm, maybe a little less, needs to exist between the old and new holes) and it might depend on the hole pattern of the old and new bindings but usually you can just push them up or back a little and be fine. and they'll plug the old holes so you don't get water in your ski

but yeah you can definitely sell the old skis with holes in them, that's typical. just understand that that affects the value of the ski you're selling

It’ll be fine, skis can be mounted multiple times. Sure, you’ll sell them for less, but you’ll keep the bindings you like and save money by not buying new bindings

A good shop can switch over your bindings no problem. Somebody might want your skis, but obviously you would have to sell em' for a good bit less than you got em' for since they got holes in them already.

CammyPA good shop can switch over your bindings no problem. Somebody might want your skis, but obviously you would have to sell em' for a good bit less than you got em' for since they got holes in them already.

Like a hundred or so. Anyone who buys them will have to buy some bindings themselves. But then you won’t have to buy your own new bindings so it evens out

Why not just have 2 sets of functional skis. Nothing wrong with having multiple skis. (I have a look pivot addiction)

Very true, I wait to buy bindings in the summer to get the best price. At this point idc how much I spend on skiing since I don’t spend it on other things.
