STEEZUS_CHRI5TAt your age lay off the heavy heights and stick to running, box jumps, band exercises for your quads/knee. In my opinion your not at the age to really benefit from squatting and throwing weights around

steez_apprenticeI would say maybe starting light isn’t an issue, but lifting heavy is absolutely NOT a smart choice for someone in middle school
STEEZUS_CHRI5TYea, middle schoolers have no business doing power lifting workouts. Keep it light, and do body weight workouts (air squats, pull-ups, box jumps, push-ups..etc
Also a great time for someone your age to do ab exercises, those will help with your skiing.
SessionAt 14, I can't recall having to specifically exercise for anything.
