RIP_leos_shackBest park Copper. Gonna be crowded unless it's early Dec. Aspen/Snowmass is great for everything if you have base plus pass.
BradFiAusNzCoCaEldora’s park isn’t copper but it is a Woodward too so it’s not bad
Farmville420I've heard a lot of pros in the street scene tend to ride park at eldora and not copper because of the shorter drive and it's apparently way less crowded. They close parking once it fills up so it keeps the lines generally shorter. Also apparently Woodward Eldora is a fantastic park.
Can anyone vouch for this^, I'm not trying to pull up to copper and be surrounded by triple corking 13 year olds.
Emma_Watsonsecond copper for park skiing. def peep A-Basin (arapahoe basin), great vibe and some challenging inbound terrain
goatmasterGo to Copper. You will be blown away with how good the park is. I live like an hour from Copper but Eldora is insanely close which is amazing and I am incredibly lucky. I grew up and learned to ski there. But honestly Eldora is joke in comparison to Copper. It is embarrassing to Woodward to have their name on that place. They give off an image of the really good park and vibe that isn't true in my experience. The line on a Saturday is just as bad or worse than Copper, the jumps have zero lip to them, all the rails have some weird barrier before them and are the lips never raked. Also I'm surprised the government never stepped in and started putting a wind farm on Eldora instead of a ski area because it is constantly seemingly the windiest place on earth. And the jump line is like a wind tunnel for the wind seemly. Constant horrible headwind, all the time. Also they don't even have the small mountain chill vibe they advertise. Like the chicken tenders are like 20 dollars or more and the portions get smaller every year. Sorry to everyone that likes Eldora but its true. It's a bummer because it has the potential to be an amazing place. Maybe they will change their ways this season I hope. It is really close to my house but I still drive like 3 times as far every day and sit in traffic to ski Copper instead. Every day at Copper I have a great time and see like 100 people I know and have a great time. You should go just to copper, which is always such a good experience no matter the day or conditions.
RIP_leos_shackSurprised no mention of Steamboat here. Park is mid but tree skiing fucks when it dumps. Starting to get a bit more crowded now but still a huge mountain with lots of little stashes.
KoshermilkSteamboat is heavily overrated imo, terrain isn’t challenging, mountain has no vert, more of a resort than fun skiing
RIP_leos_shackLol it's nearly 4000' vert and easy to do 2500 in one run. Challenge is there if you know where to look.
