I’ve heard great things about the sniper’s performance but surface hasn’t stepped their quality recently up. I broke my 2021 givers in like a third of a season

Stiffer more comp focused ski...are they worth $600? Probably not imo. I'm not sure how their sales line up compared to v's but it's kinda hard for me to think about dropping that amount on just skis. I've been riding give'rs past two seasons and they've held up fine aside from edge cracks, copped some 2022 royales for $170 off snowshare that I'll prolly daily in the park this year. All of surfaces line up I'm pretty sure has the same early rise/rocker profile just different widths/flexes (similar to wets vs wet plus). I'd also consider the helix 88, arv 86, tw pro, bent 90 as well if i were you.
Surface durability seems to be very hit or miss. I’ve had a good experience, as with many others, but I’ve heard for a lot of people they have not help up well at all
