Armadas ar series and bdog/edollo are fire probs top best looking imo. What v's you got? I respect Emmet and the time he puts into coming up with top sheets but gotta say I appreciate some artwork/illustration on skis
armada have had some dogshit graphics the last couple years. none of them have spoke to me. the maadsteeze graphics were horrendous. this years ar96 makes me cringe everytime i see it because it looks like a bear peeing. the bdog was good both last and this year though, good to see armada putting out some good graphics.
I think armada should do more classic graphics, they would sell so hard with the "OG" style having a ressurection. just like the original Al dente and last years edollo.

Armada fucked up not doing a 20 year anniversary of the AR5 graphic like they did with the AR7 in 2013. They had a prime opportunity to rerelease a top tier graphic and absolutely fumbled it.

Yes I love the Edollo and bdog graphics. Respectfully I’m not a fan of the madsteeze graphics but to each their own. I also have the cactus Vs

I will never forgive armada for getting rid of the alpha 1 and the halo. They had a unique shape and no one makes anything even remotely similar to it. The b-dog is just a lazy design for a skinnier version of the dollo. As far as graphics go they haven’t had a good one since the 2015 Dollo. Armada as a whole has grown into a very boring brand. If they didn’t have their team going for them no one would care about them anymore.
I’ve had Alpha X’s in the past. Most of my skis now have some 5 point with two notable examples, in particular, that most resemble Alpha X shape: fauna pioneer and RMU Wisco

I think their shapes are still interesting, loved the whitewalker and stranger last year - but the production quality has gone to shit. I've had sidewall separation on every Armada ski I've owned since 2019 and was told point blank by a rep at one point that it *can* be caused by the tight screw spacing on Pivot heels. As a freestyle company, if your skis can't handle pivots that's a big problem and shouldn't be an ongoing issue for 3+ years, imo.
I wouldn't be so salty if they warrantied them each time but I was denied twice and offered an at-cost credit once, which would still require me to pay a shop the difference between their wholesale and retail cost.

Thanks brother. First I started off taping the edges and a bit of the base for overspray.then started off with using 120 grit on a orbital sander. Hit them with that a few times. Then used tack cloth to get the tops clean. I went and got some krylon enamel like automotive paint. Hit them with 5 coats of that. Used the entire can. Before all of this I used wax paper to stencil the armada logo. Got that on there. Then I decided to do the wu tang thing. Just printed out the design cut it out. Then painted that. Finally got the wu tang “font” made the armada. Taped on the piece of paper with it on there. And used a carpenter pencil to transfer the ink. And then free handed it with paint markers. Today ima Toss on a couple clear coats. I’ve got another automotive clear coat that is “chip” resistant but we’ll see.

I had pivots on my 2015 Alpha X’s and the sidewall underfoot cracked horizontally in multiple places. I’ve never had that issue before or since on any skis

i had a pair of the 08 t halls in 182 with silver pivots. one of my favorite graphics for sure.
i eventually gave them to my buddy who subsequently trashed them. so sad =(
