Symmetric vs Asymetrical

How much of a difference is there between a symmetrical twin tip and almost symmetrical twin tip. For example the bent 100 is barely asymmetric, vs the bent 90 being a true twin tip. Will there be a noticeable difference skiing switch or is it one of those things that are more for marketing and don’t rly matter

Like the bent 100 has 10% less rocker in the tail.

Pretty sure the Bent 90 is not a symmetrical twin. Tip sidecut is 119mm and tail sidecut is 109mm. Theres a reason nobody really makes a proper symmetrical twin; shit wouldn't ski the best.

The difference in behavior is minimal. In theory, a perfectly symmetrical ski, if mounted centered, could lead to better switch skiing performance and a better swing weight balance. However, it is not certain that this is noticeable, especially since now most park skis are asymmetrical but with a difference between tail and tip of less than a centimeter. The asymmetry of a ski brings better all mountain performance, especially in carving and turn initiation.

Vishnu Wet and Wides, as well as the Liberty Helix 88 are 100% symmetrical skis.

Based on my experience - I don’t notice a huge difference with 100% symmetrical
