Hello, I have had the same pair of Full Tilt Booters since 2014 and I have also not changed the liner in any of that time (all my money went to ski trips LOL) Currently I can lift my heel inside the boot at least 2 to 3 cm making for a very sloppy feeling ride inside the shells; and that's with me ratcheting the hell out them as well. I'm not exactly ready to shell out hundreds of loonies for new boots, but new wraparound Intuition Liners might be an easier pill to swallow. I already have heat molded footbeds inside the liners as well, so I will just take those out and transfer them over.
I ask if you think that new liners will solve the critical issue of my heel being able to raise inside the boot, or if I should just admit that these boots have had a good run and it's time to give my feet some new moon boots?
If I were to get new boots, I am quite fond of the three-piece liner and how easy it is to get my foot in and out of my full tilts. Therefore, I would be limited to Dalbello's Cabrio three-piece designs or the former Full Tilt-now-just-K2-3-piece boots. Furthermore it would have to have specifically the intuition wrap around liner, as any tongue liner I have ever used always dug into the top of my foot and I hated it, which cuts down the options further. Was really leaning more towards dalbello and their Krypton 120s, as my brother had the same boots as me and got their Kryptons, and he seems fairly pleased with them.
Foot size wise, I believe I am a Mondo 28.5, the shell size is 315 mm, and the overall shape of my foot is flat and wide. My everyday shoe is a pair of Xero shoes which feature zero heel rise and a wide toe box.
