Said he had skied a bunch of other “swerve” skis like Blends and Wets and that the 1000 skis were much better. Not a butter/swerve guy so I’m not sure how true it is but he really was gushing about them, they seem pretty cool. Also looked pretty sick in person.

KyguyyI think 1000 nerfed Magnus because he’s not as energetic in his style anymore. That could just be from getting older. But Hackel has gone up since 1000 IMO.
SchoessI think they love skiing so much that they're trying to make a sustainable living in the long-term for themselves. Everyone gets older and your body stops being able to butter pretzel cork in the streets at some point.

you haven’t seen that video yet. It’s really fucking good. And there is a whole other documentary film that was made last season as well.
I understand if you don’t fw tiktok/reels. But you are the ones watching em also it sounds like so idk what to tell ya.
These guys are leveraging the algorithm as best they can because numbers are helpful in getting $support from brands. If they weren’t grinding social media as hard as they do, there would be less opportunity for support to make these films. Then you’d be asking why they aren’t making movies anymore or asking why they got a “real job”
This thread got me sad. I just saw both these guys a couple weeks ago. As a fan of them from the early days, I can say they are the best versions of themselves rn and still constantly putting in work to progress.

snowfinderSkis are super expensive to ship, my guess is they are tacking on the price to ship to the cost of the skis and selling it as one product allowing them to have "free shipping".
