Really don't understand why Sainz wasn’t penalized. He broke the rules clear as day crossing the pit entry line. Hamilton got on the radio right away about it and chandok read the rules during the race.

I disagree with the rule but, it’s only for exiting the pit. Had there been another car affected, they would have likely penalised him in some way.

It’s applies to the entry as well. There just wasn’t an added directive to Vegas evidently.
That was the first time I had sat down and watched a full grand prix in years. Really impressed by the quality of F1's coverage compared to other motorsports. Vegas is a really cool layout, I think they should keep it and COTA and axe Miami.

Miami isn’t going anywhere. It’s HUGE down here. One of the highest grossing revenue races for f1. I do agree it’s not fun to watch on tv. In person it’s a great track to attend. Tons of really cool viewing Areas around the stadium. Plus the events they have all week long all around town are packed.
cota is a great track racing wise but one of least fun to walk around attending in person. A lot of stuff is stretched out and takes awhile to walk from one place to another. Their GA seating though is great.

Ferrari with a big dent in their hopes for winning the WCC as Charles Leclerc received a 10-place grid penalty for exceeding the number of energy stores allowed.

i get that yuki is just a honda driver but it’s better to let him sink or swim than to potentially *destroy* liam’s career like they did with albon and gasly

Liam is light years ahead of yuki maturity wise. They don’t want a screaming child in the red bull team. It’s the main reason he’s been stuck in the lower tier team all this time. Max does crying and whining for the team already.
Yuki did not enough growth on several points. Would have loved to see him in the Red Bull and I expect a step like that might just be what he actually needs to make those growth steps. Some people are like that. Now we will never now. Maybe he goes to AM with Honda in 2026, although I am not sure Stroll Sr sees him with huge potential but you never know how much influence Honda will have there.
Hadjar will probably get the spot at RB. That means five rookies next season:
Bortoletto (Sauber, still Kick in 2025?)
Doohan (Alpine)
Bearman (Ferrari)
Antonelli (Mercedes)
Hadjar (Racing Bulls)
It will be interesting to see those guys develop and how soon they can compete. Its sometimes strange to see that a guy like Bortoletto, F2 champ, only gets a seat at the slowest F1 team. Difficult to show your potential there..

Well it’s not just about staying. Where do you go? If you don’t have options. if Alonso decides to stick around because of Adrian then there won’t be a seat at Aston Martin for Yuki. so he would jump ship from One back marker team to another back marketer team. he’s not gonna have a chance to get any of the top rides so staying at RB might be the best option

I picked up the Ferrari set and traded a few with a friend who got the McLarens. Pretty decent for $40
so fucked that Doohan is basically already out of his seat before the season has begun, at least give him a chance before the looming threat of being replaced by Colapinto is used as motivation
McLarens looking really good in testing. Though it’s just testing.
Hamilton seems to be really happy. Not the fastest but I think he’s just getting use to Ferrari. I have a feeling he’s going to be a big piece of 2025.
