You can make that claim all you want. If that was a fact Perez would have be penalized. He wasn’t because the data showed they both moved inwards slightly towards each other. The stewards felt both drivers had a hand in the incident which is why it was ruled a racing incident and neither were Held at fault.

Don’t know how they did it but the car banksman(?) was the one that goofed and told Alex to pull out the garage before the pit crew member could grab the fan, almost got run over trying to grab it as the car pulled away.
Franco is already on par with Albon pace wise and finishing wise. Having only been in the car a few races.
carlos isn’t some magically driver who’s suddenly going to come in and spank Albon and win races in the Williams. He’s be there or there abouts with albon. Which Franco is currently doing and could continue to do for 3/4 of the price. Those are just the facts.

No one expected Yuki to finish the qualifying ahead of the two Ferrari drivers. Yuki has looked pretty good in the practice sessions as well in the qualifying and it would not be a great surprise if we see him finish tomorrow's race in the top 10.

Well one Ferrari crashed out and the other had his time deleted. So saying Yuki finished ahead of them is a stretch. If Charles kept his time and Sainz hasn’t crashed yuki would have for sure been behind them.
i keep up with f1 news and I respect the drivers and engineers, but I find it kinda funny how much of y'all like it. f1 culture is uppity ski racer culture, it's not the same kind of rowdiness as freeskiing and snowboarding.

It sucks, I really like Ricc but he hasn't won a podium since 2021. He isn't even a top 5 driver anymore. So, I can understand why he got the boot. I could see him as a rally driver tbh. He has that same rowdy energy that most Rally drivers have.

Daniel doesn’t seem to be interested in other racing series, he’s scared of ovals so sadly indycar is out of the question.

Just listened to vowles on the F1 nation podcast. Dude does not waste words. He is such a calculated, strategic and smart man. The way he talks of next year being a complete wash and everything goes into 2026 gave me chills. Most other principals would lay out some bullshit he just cuts right to the point. Love that.

Did Norris really gain an advantage when he was forced off track, sure he overtook but max was fully off track too after completely botching the corner? I guess the stewards would say he should have backed off and not passed off track regardless of Max’s on/off track location. Is this just another instance of Max’s all or nothing defensive strategy/genius?

The fact max would have never made the corner either should negate the Lando penalty. If max had left a car width between himself and the track meaning Lando could have stayed in but didn’t and passed max would be a different story. This rule is bullshit though. Drivers now know they can just let off the brakes Over shoot the corner and force another driver off as long they “arrived at the apex first”

That AM has been so underwhelming, I wonder if Newey can save them. I could definitely see Lawson going to Red Bull for next year if he keeps out preforming Yuki. Checo better enjoy his last home race lol. And probably Colapinto to Kick, hopefully they'll be more competitive for 2026.
Ferrari is only starting to feel the pangs of regret for their incredibly stupid decision, but it is only a twinge compared to the depths of buyers remorse they'll be experiencing in July-Aug of 25.

I'm not a Max fan, but I'm afraid I can't agree with you here. The difference between a good driver and a champion is the ability to make the most out of the hand you're dealt. Sure, there were some events that went Max's way - but he had put himself in a position where he could make the most out of those events and maximise his points. Lando can have a lucky day, and he still can't win. In Brazil, he had an unlucky day and went from pole to P6.
Max has an exceptional drive, and I don't understand how you could put that down to luck alone.

flag when they were both on equal used
inters. Then he benefited from a red flag where he was able to get a free pit stop and get fresh tires. Ocon in front of him had to restart on used tires because he didn’t have any fresh rubber due to what he used in Qualy and the race. Which was shown by the rear facing camera on the restart where ocon had worn rears to max’s new tires. In fact both alpines were restarting on used tires to max’s fresh tires. Lando and George had already pitted and had laps on their tires as well and had already lost positions to the top three because of their pit stops and the red flag. Once the restart happened max was free tl

The Reality is he was stuck behind the Ferrari when on equal tires and had he not had the free tire change with the red flag he would have pitted and re entered the race likely 7-9th place. I'll put it this way then - how many other drivers on the grid do you think could have won Brazil given the exact same variables as Max? Personally I think it's Max, maybe Lewis and Charles. Alonso a few years ago. Lando would not have been able to win that given the same circumstances & car.

If ocon would have had new fresh tires at the red flag and everyone else in the top six started on used as was the case with max ocon would have won. While I won’t say any driver would have won most would have in that situation including Lando. There is just no comparing a car on a car on new fresh inters to driving on well worn inters, having new tires while everyone else is on used tires is a massive advantage especially in the wet. Again on equal tires ocon opened up a 3 second lead that max wasnt able to close and on equal tires max was stuck behind Charles and could not make the pass. In this situation it was all about luck. The cards just fell right for max.
