does anyone on ns even know what it is?

BradFiAusNzCoCaIt’s buried in my threads. Interested to see what happens with Red Bull and this cost cap penalty given Max already won. God it was almost even more boring watching him dominate than it was Lewis
r00kieI want to be more of an F1 fan than I am. Hard to get to excited this year with Max dominating and each race being pretty predictable who will fill the podium. Would be cool if the American team were more likeable but Haas doesn't perform well and seems to rub shoulders with some real sketch sponsors. Also, kind pissed the sport blocked Colten Hertta out.
SlitherySnakei think it was under like drive to survive fans or something.
idk what it is but something about redbull just really rubs me the wrong way. I like max alright and i’m a decent fan of checo but i really dislike horner and the organization as a whole.
i’m a big mercedes fan (besides russell) but i think that sheer domination from any team is just plain boring. would much rather have the title fight be between all of the big three and maybe toss in mclaren if they can get their act together.
at this point the only thing that’s fun to watch is the battle of the midfield cars because there’s some really good racing going on, especially when seb and fernando duel 😫. gonna miss seb big time next year

BradFiAusNzCoCaYeah it the title was about Drive to Survive Season 3 or something. Red Bull Racing has always been scummy. When I started watching, it was Vettel just dominating the field and now we’re back with Verstappen. Just replace the T with an R VET-> VER.
Horner has always been annoying, he’s a typical pompous British twat.
My favorite duels are Verstappen and LeClerc
So Haas originally said they would hire an American driver. Look how that turned out..
What happened to Herta?
I know they’re freezing Andretti out.
JemsHaas constantly fucks over their drivers with shitty strategy and even worse pit stops, does not help that Mick crashes so often but he deserves a better team. Luckily haas just secured a new main sponsor so hopefully they suck less next year! Herta is a talented driver but takes so many risks that he’d be even more of a crash risk than MSC. The only reason F2 exists is to serve as a feeder series into F1, even though IndyCar is infinitely more competitive, while being full more experienced drivers.

r00kieSuper License points system likes to keeps things in house hence the IndyCar drivers getting snubbed. Who did Haas get as their new main? I saw they were announcing one but didn't hear more.
JemsRussell is quickly turning into a cocky twat and especially after that incident where he ran directly into mick and blamed mick for it
Jemsi believe it’s a battle between mick and hülkenberg for next years seat
what makes no sense to me is why they’d chose a driver way past his prime like hülkenberg. yes mick crashes too much, but if tsunoda gets a third year with AT then mick deserves another year with Haas. I think it’s sad the MSC won F2 but got sat in a broke team with a car that could only fight for the last two places. Then proceeded to get fucked over time after time by Haas’ boof ass strategy.
BradFiAusNzCoCaRussell has always been cocky. Remember when he tried to overtake bottas and caused him to crash and then slapped Bottas on the helmet afterwards? I’ve never liked Russell. Respect him as a driver but I just can’t explain it. There’s something off about him.
Mick actually shows some talent when he’s gotten in scraps. He has the ability. I think he’s just been given no guidance and needs to speak up for himself more. I mean his mom had to tell Haas his seat didn’t fit his first year
Jemsi think that fact that his greatest figure for guidance is damn near a vegetable + his last name contributes to his timid personality. i mean the dude had to compete under a fake last name growing up.
George is a superb driver, it’s really entertaining watching him beat lewis so often. But for the love of god he needs to shape up his attitude. Quickly becoming one of the most hated drivers. And on the topic of that, i’ve ever understood strolls intense hate when he’s not even a bad driver. Dudes an absolute beast in the rain and performs better than virtually every other pay driver and a few other non pay drivers.
BradFiAusNzCoCaAnd yeah I agree. Stroll has had so much hate but I never thought he was that bad. He had had some breakthrough moments. Gasly almost fell into that until he reset his mindset at Alpha Tauri. I think Zhou deserves hate though. Listen to that guy on the radio to his engineers lol
r00kieGoing to miss Danny Ric. Guy adds a lot of personality to a sport that can seem uptight.
JemsDanny basically the only mf who is genuinely funny
LonelyDanny is the most "what's up fellow kids" mf on the circuit which is probably why brands love hime
BradFiAusNzCoCaI actually find him incredibly annoying. When he first blew up, he seemed genuine. Now it seems like it’s part of his persona and he’s forcing it while internally seething that his career isn’t where he hoped
DilldoesNS group trip to F1 Las Vegas?
DilldoesNS group trip to F1 Las Vegas?
BradFiAusNzCoCaThat would be cool but I can already tell you that race is going to blow. City races always suck because they’re too tight and it ends up being a giant parade
r00kieAlso most of us would have to blow a month of income to be there.

BradFiAusNzCoCaExactly.
Austin race is the crown jewel of USA racing. It’s the answer everytime. One of the best tracks on the calendar. The others are money grabs.
Also just watched Verstappen interview with Danica Patrick. He may be the first f1 driver I’ve ever seen admitting drinking the week of the race lol
DilldoesI have a free ticket and hotel from my Father in-law. He is the CSO of a large auto repair/tire distributor and gets free tickets to all kinds of shit.
We are going to Miami as well for the Grand Prix.
BradFiAusNzCoCaWell that’s a different story. Still doesn’t change my opinion though.
You need runoff to see real racing otherwise the risk is too high. Same issue as Monaco.

S.J.WI disagree.
Being able to push the car to the absolute limit, all while the consequence for being 2 inches the wrong way is your race being over is some of the most impressive driving.
Additionally we don’t have to have to worry about track limits being exploited and waiting two hours past a race to determine a winner.

DilldoesMonaco is only cool if you are watching it from a yacht.
BradFiAusNzCoCaApparently an American driver is replacing Latifi at Williams. Idk if I’m late to this news but interesting
JShredzI am absolutely enraged at Russel. Clear lack of sense in himself and misjudgment going into Turn 1. I just can't like him. A shirtless posh boy who got it served to him on a silver platter. We saw it last year in Italy with his incident against bottas!
I am also a sainz fan. So I think this adds to why I am heated
BradFiAusNzCoCaExactly.

piss_boySeems like f1s gotten really popular this year. I hear loads of people talking about it but haven't ever watched it
DilldoesI got to do Ciruit of the America's for a Ducati day.
I cried.
JShredzDrive To Survive on Netflix. The show skyrocketed the sports popularity and I would highly recommend that you watch it. Although there are some small discrepancies that the show fabricates,(fake commenters) , it is otherwise entirely true and follows each team and driver. You gotta see it.
And DTS sends you down a massive pipeline and you start to love the sport and eventually you are waking up early Sunday morning for a race halfway across the world.
Jemsi tried watching an episode of DTS and cringed so hard cause all the do is overdramatize the sport
JShredzI am on the fence about Logan Sargent. Even though as an American I have to support him, I think the spectacle of his nationality will fade extremely quickly. He is in a Williams after all. As long as he doesn't absolutely bin it in all the remaining f2 races he is garenteed the seat.
But I mean look at the other talent on the f2 grid who are higher than him in the championship:
Felipe Drugovich: Aston Martin reserve driver
Théo Pourchaire: Alfa Romeo reserve driver
Does Logan really deserve the pipeline over these guys? I am not so sure.
3maniaBack in the old days, someone from a mid to back runner team would win a race or two, but these days that just never happens. Hell it's even a miracle if someone beside RB, Merc, or Ferrari, even gets a podium.
