Unusual Drop-ins

Hey NS, as all of us are I'm feeling the late fall stoke as the temperatures are dropping. Getting excited to get back on snow more and more with the drop of each degree.

I'm planning to hit a significant amount of urban this year and I was wondering if there were any ideas out there for unusual drop-ins you may have used? In pasted years we've used the classic wooden ladder drop-in. And this year I'm trying to rig up a scaffolding drop-in that we can also convert the down ramp into a ladder drop-in. I was wondering if there were unique or unusual droppings you guys have used to get natural speed in the past.

Last year was the first time me and some friends tried urban, spent most of the day building up a drop in with snow. We were so excited to ride anything we didn't realize the spot we were building a drop for wasn't worth it.

Our urban crew did a lot of non-winch drop ins this year. A lot of pulling people in with a rope, pump tracks, and car tows. I'll link one of our more interesting ones we did.

I’ve seen people lay a ladder down against the top of their car or off the bed of a truck. Treadmill method in the one older TC episode is interesting as well.

back in the day someone, maybe some Line dudes, used one of these roller conveyor belt things to hit street rails without snow. kinda stupid but i like where their head was at lol

This is prolly the most common portable drop in you’ll see (with some minor modifications). I would def use some pressure treated so they don’t split and have two sets of braces to support the harsh angle. The narrower the angle the less stable it’ll prolly be, but it’ll be steeper
