T0AST.Yeah but pivots brakes are expensive and a pita to replace
.nastynot a pain at all, just unscrew the arms once the heel is engaged and swap the baseplate.
Canis_lupusHmm seems like it’s either a pain in the ass or pretty easy. I’m just curious if a shop will take the job or not

T0AST.Maybe @nasty can chime in but I'm sure most any shop that sells pivots can do it but if you're selling the skis it may not be worth the price.
maaatttCorrect, any shop that sells pivots should also be able to swap brakes
tdolloBrakes on pivots can be changed. You'll need to remove the old brake assembly, replace it with the new one, and screw back into the ski. Be careful not to strip your holes.
If you can't be fucked to get a new base assembly; people have replaced the individual brake arms; but I do not recommend.
