What made you decide that you actually liked skiing?

Insane

For me, it was my first day skiing after getting off the bunny slope and going onto my first green. I remember being scared as fuck because it was so icy and "steep" but once I got to the bottom I was so stoked that I wanted to do it again. And that cycle repeated all day. Bought skis for the next season after that since it was late spring. Haven't looked back since.

Just curious as to why you guys liked skiing initially and why you continue to do it.

When I switched from my 1st park skis (K2 Revivals) to Armada AR7s something really clicked. It finally felt like me and my skis were on the same page. The K2 s we’re so heavy n sluggish while the ARs were the exact opposite

Crazy Fool

Always loved snow, as a child I would get so excited when it started snowing and I would go sliding all day long. Then at 13 I went to the tiny local hill with a school ski trip and was hooked right away. I learned how to do snowplow turns and stop almost immediately, then rough parallel turns the same day. I remember getting props from my classmates who were not having such an easy time. I had not been good at any other sports except biking up to that point, so I pretty quickly decided this was going to be my thing. The love has only grown since then.

Lame

Grew up in the mountains near a ski area, so learning to ski was kind of a duty. Was never a huge fan of, until i had a not-so-great time as a teenager. Just loved the feeling being out in nature with the crew, supporting each others and the general feeling of pure freedom (still chasing that to this day).

Probably when I learned to back 2 out of a rail or slid a rail once I did that dude I was like holy fucking shit I can do stuff and do stuff with stuff to do new stuff and then got introduced to day drinking that changed the game and a crippling addiction to monster and buying too much weed that I can barely afford a season pass at the local mountain but nah seriously I wouldn’t give up anything for skiing
