skis soften up over time as you break em in, won't be anything crazy but they should get a lil easier to work as the season goes on.

what skis are we talking about? honestly just try to flex them while skiing. a friend of mine got his arv 84 to be quite soft just from trying to butter and press. some skis almost mold to your skiing, that's how i felt it with my poachers anyway.

They are chamonix vormaine they are a bamboo core with carbon fiber stringers hella stiff

whoa, never heard of those. just put some weight into the butter, most skis can be buttered on, did a nosebutter 360 with racing skis once

Ski them in more if they are new. Eventually you'll break them in and they'll be right as rain. I love skis that are like 2-3+ years old that are still going because they grease butters so easily so definitely keep skiing them and trying butters.

Pretty much all skis are butterable, was pretty easy to butter on my poachers even when I was only 175 lbs. proper technique is all you need.

Broken.mici bought a pair of super stiff skis last season and I was hoping someone could give some advice on how to soften them up

Not tryna be an asshole but if you actually understand butters and have proper technique you can butter stuff skis, just practice, a proper butter should require you to be throwing a lot of weight into it

Max hill said at some point he would put his afterbangs between two cinder blocks and jump on them until they were to his liking.

if you’re handy with a router and don’t mind trashing the skis, you can take like 1/2” out of the sidewalls.

line did it with their last afterbangs and montucky mad man on ski builders does it too.
