i’m living in Japan for the next few months and plan on putting down a 1 or 2 week ski trip there in December. i’m seeking advice on spots/mountains to hit, places to stay, and overall genuine and veridical Japanese experiences to behold. i know December isn’t peak season, but that’s my opportunity to ride so i am taking it. go ahead w guidance and recommendations for traveling and skiing that far out land
You can start booking stuff and hope the country opens up by then. But make sure it's cancellable. Otherwise you have to book everything through a tour agency at this point. It's possible to travel but still sounds like a pain in the ass.
Moiwa Lodge just outside Niseko. Dirk and family are great hosts. His buddy Sho owns an awesome restaurant just down the road as well. Moiwa has good side country and you can do day trips to Kiroro and Rsustu.
