Damn I wish I thought of this. But it was never so nefarious. It was more about encouraging homies to make some proper edits and stop only posting their shit to the gram.

full cuts were so essential for me and my friends I started skiing with. I have a lot of memories locked in because of the edits we made. Whether is was a single day or something we worked towards for weeks, those songs, the b roll moments, and everything that never got recorded stay way stronger in my mind compared to a lot of things that have just come and gone.

I wanted to bring that to crews now who may not be already doing it on their own and needed a good excuse to get a lil extra motivated.

also I realize you are kind of a dickhead troll most of the time so don’t consider this a response to you. Just wanted to share my perspective for any casual reader in this thread.

Were the two summer rail jams that Gilson organized stingy and cringe? If so then I’m super hyped on your comparison.

WTRP one of the coolest edit series ever IMO, second.

It would be sick if there was more regional variance though, I feel like when I watch it the film/cut/skiing is kinda similar, would be insane if some mountains had like super distinct cultures

Nah not beginner. But definitely younger kids on this 1 so alot of sty isn't developed. I see where ur coming from, some sloppy tricks etc. The edit was still a banger.

Was just bringing the thread to your attention, your dislike of my newschoolers account is your problem.

Also idc how many rail jams Gilson decides to host so that they are positively recognized in the community. You realize that's what those are right? Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. It’s an edit of the sickest locals, some might be pro but that’s incidental. Relatable shit that gives you a park’s vibe. Idk about each edit not really having its own culture, you can definitely see stylistic differences and different trick selection between Grouse, Seven Springs and the Sugarbush Long Lens edit.

The edits are all different but when I meant insanely different, I meant like some mountain in the Midwest where everyone wears leather jackets, tight pants, listens to metal vs some mountain in Vermont where everyone dresses like their from the 80s and listens to Earth Wind and Fire. Not saying that exists or that it would even be cool but it would be pretty sick if there was like that level of variety between mountains

I mean the only issue is it would be the people who tune in to/own/rep arsenic at different locations. So obviously they are bouncing stylistic choices off eachother. So every edit is going to have some stylistic similarities, just different visions of said stylistic choices. Obviously location influences, but ide say because of how connected through internet everyone is that's going to be a larger influence.
