Cork 7 tramp vs snow

Ive been very comfortable with flippy cork 7s and misty 5s on trampoline for a while now, and really want to take them to skis. I was just wondering how different they feel on skis? Like would I have throw them harder because of the extra weight or what? Also are baranis a thing on skis?

you def have to tuck/grab harder/faster to get the flip around with skis on. i would start with a regular 7 and progressively make it flippier until youre happy with it. i wouldnt just go for full dspin right away.

Ahhh cheers. What grabs would u say are easiest and should I go for leading or trailing? Barani is like a front flip 180 but Ur always looking at the ground, unlike a misty 5. Think it's more of a gymnastics thing

easiest grab to get a good tuck is safety. spinning left i grab left, spinning right i grab right.

blunt is pretty easy to reach too. imo

As long as you're not doing cork 7 misty style, its really similar, pretty much the same on trampolines and snow. On small jumps safety is a good grab to go for, but once the jumps are even a little bit bigger, trailing tail/blunt becomes the easiest grab. The way it lifts your hips up into the spin and slows it down a bit, its sorta like laying out a backflip, it just gives you a ton of control.

At first you can obviously notice the weight on your feet. A lot of people I see trying corks first time toss their body and the legs just do their own thing. Make sure to keep everything somewhat together. Its kind of an easy rotation, soon you wont be able to go past 540 without getting corked, its a real phenomenon.
