Idk how long my skis should be

Yo homies and homiettes. I’m 6 foot and wanna upgrade to a pair of freestyle skis. Long story short idk if I should go 184 or 177 or even shorter. Old pair was 180 soul 7s. What’s the pros and cons

You’ll spin a little faster with short skis, you’ll be a little more stable with longer skis. Just get them close to your height. I’m 6 foot and ride 181s

Sounds like you’re considering k2 poachers. Basically, 177 will be easier to start on but you’ll outgrow them quickly. 184 may be a bit tougher at first but it’ll do you better long term. Honestly, many people adapt to ski length so I’d suggest 184

I’ve been skiing big mt/backcountry since I was 3, and I’m 17 now so I’d say I’m pretty advanced. Can send big drops and stuff like that. I weigh 160 atm. Really wanna learn park and freestyle especially when I go to college somewhere next year

cool, then right around your height should be good. sounds like this will be a "do-it-all" ski? if so yeah get it right around your height... 182cm give or take a little, so out of the choices you said, easy choice on the 184
