Also yeah sucking it up and dealing with is just part of getting over bad habits. Especially a habit that you’ve had for so long.

I used to smoke a lot of weed when I was younger. I was always baked. Starting taking poppers too. And other drugs.
But this was throughout highschool and I had a lot of shit going on. But I kid you not, learning to ski was a huge turning point in my life. I found skiing brought me more happiness than weed did. And it fucked with my fitness and cardio, so it was holding me back from having fun on the hill.
Was a no brainer at that point. I don’t miss it at all. The joy of living an active and healthy lifestyle will bring me more happiness and satisfaction than weed, alcohol, or any drug ever will
But like others said it doesn’t happen overnight but it’s worth the change, best of luck to you dude
