soupSick gig. You'll be in ski boots longer than you ever had but you'll ski everyday and ride features you create.
Weed is a prerequisite.
icedhalf way through the season ur gonna decide to try snowboarding for the boots and then do it whenever ur on day shift
nmwninjartI would die of I had to wear my ski boots longer than just while I'm skiing 😂
Seriously though, Here's a good detailed description of the job. Probably already know what the job entails but it's nice to read the description even if its not your mountain.

I'm curious about it myself, They say its Hard Work and you gotta be out there on those days when you normally would stay home if the weather isn't what you want to ski in that day.
kubajuiceHaha thanks. No weed for me tho

nmwninjartI would buy snowboard boots just to wear them, they look so much more comfortable and are probably warmer.
kubajuiceI really don't mind the ski boots... job looks like fun though and I'd only be doing it part time on the weekends when I'm not in school. Also I really want one of those sick Park Crew jackets lol
Michigan_SucksIf you do a morning rake before opening just wear normal winter boots instead of ski boots. Then just swap to ski boots after that.
theabortionatorI should just sell my park crew jackets. Then people can rep without working.
Park crew is sick though. If you're down to actually work sometimes and not complain everytime you need to rake or fix something it's not that bad. It can be a lot of work but also super chill.
You have a lot of power to make your park sick.
kubajuiceThanks, I'm never opposed to working since the pay is pretty good and I get to ski, way better than the ticket scanning gig my friends are doing imo.
Edit waitaminute you got to keep your park crew jackets?

theabortionatorNot insanely common though. A lot of places its like a usual uniform. Every few years they might buy new stuff and get rid of the old, but generally places want their stuff back.
GrandThingsIs there any sort of 'dress code' in your experience?
Park Crew dudes always have their own sorta swag, but I feel like I'd expect them to be in baggier gear if allowed to choose their own sizing. Do resorts make you wear clothes specific to your size or do they cap you at like a Large? Or is it just annoying to be working in huge stuff?
kubajuiceHaha thanks. No weed for me tho
