hey, im currently inrolled at go-go (gogebic). and and official-future SAM of next year, not to mention local rider, which is pretty damn wierd, not too many local SAMs. anyways, great damn program, randy mezzano is the most easy going, coolest guy you'll ever meet(director). and this years through next falls SAMs are a kickass bunch of guys (and girl)theyre all close friends and they all have great expirence and high hopes. the program in a whole isnt too acidemically challanging, and it gives great knowledge of anything and everything in the ski world, the real ski world that is, not the glitzy shit. the second year is 8 weeks of classes and then internship in your field, there is gogebic SAMs at every huge resort you can think of. lotta alma-matter reps, managers etc. dont rely on the 2 year program if shooting big though, your going to want a bi-degree, (ex.) ski area business, NMU, marquette, which i myself plan to do. if you have any ?s hit me up on here or my email addy posted on my profile. or go to gogebic's website. gogebiccc.mi.edu...something rather. if your seriously interested, get some info, its a great program......plus, word is, gogebic is the best place in the states to get a SAM degree (even though there is only 3!) no shit. be prepared for the area though, nice few resorts, not to mention indianhead is the shit, but its yooper central, and come with a good imagination, cuz it can be boring as fuck, unless you like to drink like a fish!
sarah burke is mine guys, just wanted you to know that!
