theabortionatorMore learn to ski school/town programs. Cheaper ticket/rent/group lesson bundles. Seems like more places are getting rid of that than adding.
I get that skiing has always been spendy, but it's cool when people at least have a chance to check out the sport. Mtns pretty much shake people upside down for all their lunch money..
Cool to see some mtns do their beginner lifts for free. It helps get people into the sport and honestly the people that stick with it might biy tickets/passes there later.
More city parks would be sweet but it's tough with the snow. East coast and midwest could def add some. There's a few free rope tow/tbar places in NY but no parks.
Somebody was trying to get one going in Buffalo.
Skiing needs to not take itself too seriously but I feel like that's already shifting. Keep it weird and fun.
