Bend has become a real show now. It's expensive, but some out lying areas still not as bad.

The road from Bend to Mt Bachelor can be a shit show on powder days, if that's your thing.
If Skyliner gets fixed like they say, the Woodward Parks there are off the hook, and the vibes are all time, on the hill, and in the parking lot.

I do. Fortunately I work remote and have a person I'll be splitting rent with.

hells yeah! Send it. I haven’t skied a lot of bachelor the past few seasons but it is an awesome place. This year I got advice from Dominator about what time to park (it’s early) and I got a great spot each time. Hoodoo has a very special place in my heart and is also a super fun place to ski. Hoodoo has night skiing too and recently put in more lights and opened more night terrain

Change your plates ASAP cause the tourists get a different treatment on the roads

Bachelor has been great. Washington to Idaho to bend for me, super unique and fun landscape at the mtn. Could show you around some time if you want. Think I rode the lift with you a few times past winter Jacques.

Best part of Bachelor is no resort at the base it’s a tailgate in the parking lots.

some fear mongering will happen about the driving in the winter but I drove a stick shift Kia Soul to the mtn 50+ times the first year I moved to Bend so you do not need the popular “zombie hunter” 4 runner.

most importantly enjoy life, Bend is the shit and people can live really high quality lives here imo. don’t let the little shit ruin it
