Not only do Republicans overwhelmingly support a man who consistently insults veterans and has a history of dodging the draft (Trump), they just blocked a bill that has been unanimously supported and approved for years that provides healthcare to our vets who suffered life-long injuries from burn pits and other exposures while serving overseas in a war started by a Republican administration based on lies.
I feel bad for people like Frenchy. He gave his time to serve this country and he and fellow vets have been brainwashed into voting for people who make his and his fellow service members' lives a living hell. This is some next level evil shit.

Republicans love soldiers when they can be used as proxy armies for Israel, Stewart (not his real name) loves gatekeeping and covering for Israel, especially when it mattered most not to cover for them. Fuck them all. "Military men are dumb stupid animals to be used as pawns for foreign policy." Henry Kissinger; hence why vets are treated like shit.
Freedom is about flags, spending money invading people and country songs. The aftermath? You're on your own.
It's honestly wild how willing to go to war we are, and how little we care about the vets after. It's an accepted thing and that's weird.
Personally I'm a fan of everyone having health care in "the greatest country in the world" or whatever but at least give the vets legit medical care when they come back from these wars.

The military is useless and there are no veterans left under the age of 90 that fought in a justified war.
We do need to prioritize universal healthcare over the useless military though. Everyone should want this and it should not be left or right or controversial. Free healthcare build more public housing cut defense spending.
Republicans are fucked up but the left is way worse with the woke agenda and pushing vaccine mandates. Its going to be nothing but chosing between 2 really shitty choices for a while it seems like.

Noooo I’m not a 83iq zog golem I just want to serve my country and my flag. Nooooo.

Def agree about the military. I feel it's a proving ground in a way. People are stoked to join and fight and that's their piece of freedom regardless of the mission/country.
I don't want to get into the vaccine stuff but I feel the "woke agenda" as it generally gets ranted about includes people having rights and people maybe not being assholes. There are extremes but even for gay people there's been a fight against the "homosexual agenda" for years. Things mean different things to different people but I've def heard a lot of normal ass human right grouped up as being woke by kinda sketchy people.
We definitely need to do something about healthcare. It's crazy that cutting our military 1 penny is seen as unamerican but people not being able to see a doctore is seen as freedom.
There's a reason people are going to other countries for healthcare stuff. A couple friends did surgeries in Mexico, know people who did dental work in Thailand. That's not good if people are going to other countries for cheaper/better work sometimes.
I just feel bad for people who get coerced into fighting non-defensive wars when they're 18 years old to line the pockets of the executives of Halliburton and other companies. Then they get back, and PTSD and readjusting to normal life is tough, and oftentimes they end up homeless. Shit ain't right, but who's gonna fix it when you're going up against people who run the country, and others wealthy enough to have private armies.

THE MILITARY IS USELESS?!?!??! Who is protecting our country from foes, not you you are sitting on a couch eating chips while the military is fighting your battles. Land of the free because of the brave.

I mean I think everyone has rights at this point. Sexuality and race especially. How long do we have to apologize if they didn't have them decades ago? That changed people got their rights and everyone is accepting enough.
I don't really think we have to normalize things that just aren't that normal and are different. People are different. The US Military is promoting drag queen story hours for kids. Sorry but that has gone too far. Whats next porn being shown to kindergarteners or pedophelia being accepted and legal?
I'm a mostly straight guy that hangs out at gay bars whenever I travel I feel like the leftist woke mob is really fucking things up for queer people with this shit most of the ones I know aren't super liberal either. I also don't group people who aren't fully hetero together really everyone is different. Some trannys are hot AF and some are creepy AF dudes who look fucking ridiculous.

If the military really was about protecting Americans in America theu would have nuked Israel already. Instead, they're cogs for Israel and Balkenization agendas.

Samson Option, I know. I had a talk with an Israeli awhile back and he flipped out on me and said 'we' control the whitehouse and when we take over you'll be the first to die. Lovely guy. And this was a regular lad.
First of all op your totally (Dwight's face) FALSE I love my vets second of all why would anyone support a dude who can't talk right to be the face of our country let alone try to run a military.
The president is also the top general foe our military. The constitution has this so there won't be strife between both the government and military.
When vets see a dude on TV they think what did I fight for again?

You can't tell me Biden is doing a better job running this country
For sum reason we shut down almost all of our oil rigs and sold our reserve to China TWICE but we are importing all of it from other countries.
For some reason we pulled out of Afghanistan leaving all our inturpurturs and afghan allies to die as well as top of the line fighting technology for them to use against us (when afghans decide to help us Americans after 3yrs they earn us citizenship and we just left them there to be murdered by there own families. GREAT fo future forien relationships.)
Trump made peace with nk he got gas down to 1.28$ per gallon where I'm at he created millions of jobs his approval rating is far above bidens and he knows actually how to talk.

The president controls the military, he tells the what to do when to do it. So what you should be mad at is the president.

I mean I don't get how Dems are a lot worse when they're the ones advocating for universal healthcare, increased public housing, and actually passed an infrastructure bill? It does suck that the only commonalities between both parties are increasing the military budget every year and letting corporations run shit.
People not having rights decades ago means there are people alive who lived through that and there are real financial issues that have carried forward from the history of inequity. This is America where being poor means getting fucked by the system and if you become homeless your existence is pretty much illegal. Your family tree or community not having rights for much of its history means a lot less chance of a safety net.
I think its pretty naive to think that all the issues with racism and sexism were solved with a bill but I'm happy you think everyone is "accepting enough". Woke people in general want every person to feel comfortable in society regardless of race, sexuality, or gender and to dismantle or change the power structures opposing that. The idea of the "leftist woke mob" is sensationalized clickbait for right wing people and toxic shit on twitter relating to cancel culture. Tbh you sounded closeted but with way too much internalized homophobia to come to terms with it.
NateWhatafknAnd that's hardly scratching the surface of what Trump did for our beloved vets..
LMAO Jon Tester is the ONLY person attempting to make reform in the VA, the system is still a horrible bitch to navigate. Trump did shit, it's literally those on the Veterans Affairs committee making change.

Gas was down to $1.28 because of COVID. No one was driving for like 6months so production was backed up they had a surplus.
As far job creation he was riding the obama administration success in the hundreds of billions of dollars funding multiple infrastructure bills.
Funny how after three year of trump administration NOT investing in America's infrastructure things shit the bed after one little disease outbreak.
There is not a single politician that gives a fuck about you for the future of the world and the people in. Thanks to the media we are calling each other fucks for believing the turd sandwich is better than giant douche and vice versa while the elites use innocent people as pawns after swindling them into war with the allure of free college only to drop them like shit whenever their dirty deeds are done. Fuck trump holy shit

The only thing worse than politicians not giving a fuck about veterans are these poor barstards being sent off to these pointless wars in the first place.
Vish-shoeI agree with this 100%, we need to kill more afghani children for cheap gas.
Afghanistan was UNOCAL and Balkanization for Israel, with major US companies actually losing profits.
Regarding Iraq and Afghanistan:
James Petras writes:
“Contrary to the view of most American progressives that oil, and specifically the interests of Big Oil, is the primary mover, there is no evidence that the major US oil corporations pressured Congress or promoted the war in Iraq. The US-Jewish-Israeli lobby has created a warlike climate which now goes counter to the interests of all the world’s major oil companies including BP, the UK-based gas company, SASOL (South Africa), Royal Dutch Shell, Total of France, and others. If Iraq was invaded for oil, then the US was remarkably negligent in securing the prize,” writes Muhammad Idrees Ahmad in his excellent 2014 study The Road to Iraq: The Making of a Neoconservative War.
1. The oil companies did not promote a war policy.
2. The wars have prejudiced their interests, operations and agree- ments with prominent Arab and Islamic regimes in the region.
3. The interests of the oil companies have been sacrificed to the state interests of Israel.
4. The power of the pro-Israel lobbies exceeds that of the oil compa-
Who Fabricated the Iraq War Threat?
A thorough search through the publications and lobbying activities of the oil industry and the pro-Israel lobbies over the past decade reveals an overwhelming amount of documentation demonstrating that the Jewish lobbies were far more pro-war than the oil industry. Moreover the public records of the oil industry demonstrate a high level of economic co-operation with all the Arab states and increasing market integration. In contrast the public pronouncements, publications, and activities of the most economically pow- erful and influential pro-Israel Jewish lobbies were directed toward increasing US government hostility to the Arab countries, including exerting maximum pressure in favor of the war in Iraq, a boycott or military attack on Iran, and US backing for Israeli assassination and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians.
The most striking illustration of Zionist Jewish power in shaping US policy in
the Middle East against the interest of Big Oil is demonstrated in US-Iran
policy. As the Financial Times notes:
"International oil companies are put-
ting multi-billion dollar projects in Iran on hold, concerned about the diplomatic
standoff [sic] [US economic-military threats] over the country's nuclear programme".
No doubt the major U.S. energy companies would love to be working with Iran today in developing these vast oil and gas supplies. At present, however, they are prohibited from doing so by Executive Order (EO) 12959, signed by President Clinton in 1995 and renewed by President Bush in March 2004.
Despite the fact that billions of dollars in oil, gas and petro-chemical contracts are in play, the pro-Israel lobby has influenced Congress to bar all major US oil companies from investing in Iran. Through its all-out campaign in the US Congress and Administration, the US-Jewish-Israeli lobby has created a warlike climate which now goes counter to the interests of all the world's major oil companies including BP, the UK-based gas company, SASOL (South Africa), Royal Dutch Shell, Total of France, and others.
The neo-con objective of bringing down OPEC (while achieving access to oil for Israel) was foiled by the dismal state of the Iraqi oil infrastructure, after the impact of a decade of international sanctions (as Sadowski argued), and by the Iraqi resistance, which has rendered the prospect of any bonanza from
Iraqi oil revenues moot.
To understand the central role of the Zionist ideologues in shaping US foreign policy in the Middle East and elsewhere, it is important to frame it in the context of US-Israel relations and the powerful influence of the pro- Israel lobby inside of the US. As Patrick Seal described them in the liberal US weekly, The Nation, 'The Friends of Ariel Sharon (among the Jewish pro- Israel zealots) loath Arabs and Muslims... What they wished for was an improvement in Israel's military and strategic environment".
The US invasion of Iraq and its aggressive military posture toward most Arab regimes in the Middle East made the names of these Zionist policymakers known to the world. Wolfowitz and Feith were second and third in command of the Pentagon. Their proteges in the OPS included
Zionist Jew neocons Abram Shulsky, Richard Perle, then chairman of the Defense Policy Board, and Elliot Abrams (a defender of the Guatemalan genocide of the 1980's), then Senior Director for Near East and North African Affairs for the National Security Council. Washington's most influential pro-Israel zealots include William Kristol and Robert Kagan of the Weekly Standard, a relative of the murderous Kaganovitch clan; the Pipes family and a large number of pro-Israel institutes which work closely with and share the outlook of the rightwing Zionists in the Pentagon. The consensus among US critics of the Bush Administration is that "the false flag of 9/11 provided the rightwing Zionist zealots with a unique chance to harness US Middle East policy and military power in Israel's interest and succeeded in getting the United States to apply the doctrine of pre-emptive war to Israel's enemies".
