Night skiing in CT 22/23

I’m working in New Milford CT again, are there any good night spots I could rip after work, park would be a plus ofc. I’m kinda pissed I’m back to a weekend warrior

I haven’t been to ski sundown in years, but they used to have night skiing until 10 most nights. They have some fun rails and used commit to the park as much as a hill that size could

Such a lame excuse, like all the Olympic athletes that ride park weren’t fully backed by strong parents and local parks… smh

Mohawk hasn’t had a park in 20 years and never will. Boomer mentality. Fun hill and great night skiing but a shame

Dan and I grew up skiing mohawk. It’s probably the most family oriented hill you’ll ever visit, but it’s night vibes and snowmaking abilities are unmatched imo. Plenty to get creative on too, but to his point there will never be a park.

Southington parks are horrible, no offense to the crew but they can’t put a rail in the ground the right way. Every one of them has this weird little platform and steep landing, nothings ever waxed, and the lips are tiny.

sundown would be your best bet, their park is somewhat decent. For sure not as much attention put to it in recent years, but it could be much worse

Unfortunately it’s lookin like good old thunder ridge is my best option in terms of proximity. I gotta drive back to NY after skiing Bcs that’s where I currently live.

Southington park crew on puts in work every season, they make some pretty solid setups each season

They always have like 1 fucked rail combo and then flat bars and down tubes. Last season the elbow to down bar was crazy, pissed I never stomped anything on it

maybe it’s personal opinion but southington can’t put a rail in the ground the right way. Like I said the lips are tiny and they build these weird platforms for features with hella steep landings that you basically have to drop directly off the rail to hit it the right way. God forbid you have a shred too much speed, youre getting fucked when you land. Their park crew only builds what they want to hit themselves, and they clearly don’t use the pitch of the trail they put the park on even close to correctly.

That being said, their flow park this year was hands down the most fun thing I’ve ever ridden in CT, but to my point no rails were involved in that build.
