Replying to Slopestyle Comp @ Panorama
On March 15th the Snowboard Café Slopestyle at Panorama Mountain Village will be going off with skiers and riders laying down stylish lines and big air in the Showzone Terrain Park.
The course features a 50 ft rainbow rail, a 25 ft flat down rail and a 24 ft C-Box among other rails, tabletops and fun boxes. A 14 ft quarter pipe will also be constructed at the bottom of the course. Competitors will be given three runs through the park. 'We've just added some new features to the park; a C-Box, another flat down bar, as well as a quarter pipe at the end,' says Eric Lange, Panorama Mountain Village's terrain park designer. 'We've got a good variety of rails and some nice tabletops. Skiers and riders will be able to pick a challenging line that showcases their skills.' A DJ will be at the course providing some musical inspiration and there will be tons of prizes for the participants. For more information call the Snowboard Café at 250-342-3839. Panorama will also be hosting a skier/boarder cross on April 19th as part of their closing weekend festivities.
