Bahah liberal logic - lets alone conquer climate change where india and china produce triple or more C02 output.
A single pipeline. AND OFFSHORE DRILLING IN THE PACIFIC, ALASKA, ATLANTIC and ALMOST ALL OF THE GULF OF MEXICO
Bahah liberal logic - lets alone conquer climate change where india and china produce triple or more C02 output. Lets bankrupt ourselves while the rest of the world doesn't do jack shit.
Gotta love petty effort

Monsieur_PatateNew permits today wouldn't really make a difference short term, especially those offshore permits you're probably referring to since it would take years to get those wells online. Biden's administration has issued a record number of drilling permits last year too, so much in fact that they're being sued by environmental groups. There are also some 9000 issued permits not being used, there's plenty more drilling that could be done today if oil companies really wanted to. Biden is going around them by selling oil directly from the reserve, he's doing pretty much everything he can do at this point, which isn't much and will have limited impact at best. If prices go down in 2023 as expected, it also won't have much to do with Biden either.
They're finally slowing down on drilling permits, and I'm glad they refused those offshore permits, no need to keep destroying ecosystems imo, especially since it wouldn't help short term, and the silver lining of this whole crisis is that it might help accelerate the energy transition, which will be beneficial long term so we stop being so oil-dependent.
VTshredder69We are looking short term though, arn't we?!
It's too early to try and completely go green. Look at Europe's dependence on Russia for fossil fuels right now. They're fucked and the EURO is getting destroyed. It's almost 1-1 as the USD. This isn't coincidence.
skiermanOMG IT MUST BE BIDEN'S FAULT!!!!
