Race boots or park boots in the park

Yo it’s ya boy blain,

I got that chin chafe from my full tilts right now.

dont know what’s good with that.

looking to switch to something not as chafey.

recommendations are appreciated.

Boot-fitter, yes. Race boots, maybe.

Almost all of Atomic's park athletes ski a Redster CS boot. They use this boot because it has the precision, stability, and damping that they need.

You match the boot's flex to forces you put into the boot. That might be a race boot, that might not be a race boot. All depends on you and what you need.

If you're having chafing issues it might be your socks (or your boot fit is way off). I've been through all kinds of ski socks and these are my favorite right now: https://patriotfootbeds.com/products/elite-socks

Regarding which type of boot in the park, I used to "just get fulltilts" but eventually went to a bootfitter and got placed in some 130 flex 4-buckle boots and they were game changing. Definitely get what fits your foot, flex is a little more personal preference but I really like my stiffer boots in the park

lol just fucking tighten your boots and put a lot more pressure than you think into the front of your boots and you’ll be fine most days

It’s all a marketing blur with boots labeled/marketed for “park”/“race”. Don’t get trapped into the effect that their are boots only meant for park and only meant for racing

when i hear lange i think about some of the best skiboots on the market. the rx are great, siver voll swears by them now. he used to be a salomon spk lifer until he tried them on

Just because its a 4 buckle boot and they market to racers doesn't mean they only have race boots. Why don't you do some research and get back to us you clown.
