Oregon backcountry dogs I have an inquiry

Yo, so I’m born and raised living and skiing in central Oregon basically exclusively. So basically today I was cruising back from a rafting trip down on the grande ronde out past the wallowas, when I was driving through the armpit that is John day Oregon, I realized that the strawberry mountains which are just across the valley from John day still had some snow on the peaks (specifically strawberry mountain itself) so that got my gears spinning and I started researching seeing if this range gets much of a snow pack and looking for anything about anyone skiing this peak and range in general and I came up totally empty handed. Lots about summer hiking but nothing about skiing besides the local xc club. I figure if they still hold a little bit of snow in late June they must get a halfway decent snowpack, also considering the summit is 9,000’. So Ofcourse my only recourse is to see if any of you degenerates have ever skied this mountain or range in general or heard of anyone skiing it?
