I want to hear your funniest or worst employee housing stories. How was the chaos?
I worked at purgatory as a ski instructor this last winter and they didn’t have employee housing. Everyone lived in motels lmao.

QuaggyMy family owned "The Birdhouse" in downtown Government Camp before they lost it in court after my grandpa's small airplane went down and a passenger sued...
During the time it was in our family we would occasionally rent it out to Ski Bowl to lodge their employees there during the season as it had 21 beds, eventually everyone got tired of cleaning up after the Ski Bowl employees at the end of the season as they would completely trash the place... there were holes in the walls, piss stains on carpets, broken beds, broken stairs, broken appliances, outlets ripped from the walls, it was bizarre.
I heard the parties up there were nuts as back in the mid 2000's the ski community was a little more... fringe?
Picture of The Birdhouse.. I wish it was still in our family :(
Maybe someone from NewSchoolers has partied or stayed there...? :)
Emma_Watsonmoved into the Buckhorn at Alta and upon the first week all the dudes hated me due to a suspicion that I stole their weed as that I was the new guy. The issue resolved itself when the kid found his lost weed behind his sock drawer. kid was totally cooked.
RparrI recall reading some horror story about vail employee housing somewhere a few years back where they had 2-4 people per bed lmao fuck that

b0ssI don’t know a single person who hasn’t gotten laid there. South Americans get loco when the lights turn off. Kitchen remodel with the double oven hits different.
