So I’ve heard from a few people that the pivot heal peace freezes with snow/slush combinations making it difficult to put boot back on, was just wondering if there was any solution to prevent this?

I've spent 8+ seasons on pivots and I have never encountered any freezing or snow build up when clicking into my skis, however the heel piece does rotate and that can make clicking in pretty tough sometimes when you're in the steep and deep stuff.
Like every other binding though, make sure the sole of your ski boots are clear of ice and you shouldn't have a problem

I have had stuff build up in there, but never had it freeze, just buy demo squires, they’re just as good

It’s because it’s a retention binding so it “adapts” (so to speak) to what it’s gripping. I have definitely noticed in the past that I need to kick way more to get snow off my boot when I was instructing, for example. My coworkers would just step in whereas I was kicking. But it’s like 1-5 seconds more. It’s really not a big deal. I like the way pivots feel
