Full Tilt cable replacement???

I bought a new pair of First Chair 120's at the beginning of the season and they fit great but after 50 days of riding I have to max out the middle and top buckle after a few hours. I love the boots and they are just slightly loose above the ankle. Full tilt sells replacement cables and I am wondering if you could buy the upper cables a size shorter and replace them yourself.

Yes you can, i did it on mine after a couple seasons. Then i kept those cables when i switched to my new first chairs. If you take the liner out, then take off the back of the boot with the two screws on the outside of the heel it makes it easier to replace them(make sure to note the canting/angle/direction whatever of the piece thingy). There should also be a micro adjust slot for the cable on the inside.
