Anyone have any experience with bending out shifts specifically 115mm to about 17-18, They’re on a pair of 112mm now and they’re pretty snug, enough so that i have to get the brakes to bend a little to get the skis apart from each other
Do you have the 100mm brakes on 112mm skis? Did they resize them at some point? You can shave the plastic off the inside part and get 2-3mm on each side probably.
If it's the 115 width brake you will have no problems with a 117-118 width ski.
The skis taking a little bit of finangling to get apart when stuck together is regular across all widths of shift in my experience of mounting a bunch of shifts
I had 100mm width brake on a 108mm ski. Would have to finangle them apart like you are describing, but actual function outside of that was not effected
